About Ngaoundéré
Ngaoundéré sits on the Adamawa plateau, above a thousand metres, which gives it a noticeably cooler climate than the rest of the country. The town is the terminus of the Transcameroon railway and the starting point for the roads to the Far North. The Lamido's palace, the Vina falls and Lake Tison are its best-known sites.
